"Hot air balloon ride over Tuscany," it read in neat, elegant script. Eleanor traced the words with her fingertip, a small smile playing on her lips. She'd always been afraid of heights, which made this particular item on her grandmother’s list all the more amusing. Yet, she had booked the flight for next week.

A warm glow radiated from her chest. The thought of floating above the rolling hills, the vineyards, the ancient villages – it was too exciting to even think about. She envisioned the sun on her face, the gentle rocking of the wicker basket. She couldn't wait.
