The vibrant colors of the market stalls buzzed around David as he surveyed the scene. His father's bucket list: "Visit a bustling foreign market." He found himself among the aromas of spices and strange fruits.

He spent the morning practicing his (very rusty) Spanish, haggling for a hand-woven rug, and sampling exotic delicacies. It was all utterly captivating. He allowed himself to be swept away by the energy of the crowd. He purchased a small, intricately carved wooden bird, a souvenir for himself.
