He grinned at the photograph, his eyes crinkling at the corners. The image, taken a week ago, depicted him standing at the summit of the mountain. "Climb a mountain," his grandfather's list had decreed. Liam had almost given up, the climb was hard. But now, the triumph, that was something.

The air in the apartment felt crisp and clean, reflecting the exhilaration he'd felt atop the peak. He poured himself a glass of orange juice, and lifted it in a silent toast to the memory of his grandfather. He felt that his grandfather would have approved.
