Gemotions

The end-of-year teacher appreciation week was coming to a close. Ms. Hernandez was, by this time, feeling utterly exhausted. She felt as though she had nothing left to give, and the thought of grading papers seemed impossible. She turned on her computer and was greeted with a picture.

It was a custom-made digital portrait of her, surrounded by all of her past students, all smiling. It was a very kind and generous gift from a student from many years ago. It had taken a lot of talent, and it was clear that a lot of care had gone into creating the piece. She was suddenly completely filled with a sense of joy, she began to laugh quietly. She forwarded the picture to her family and friends, and couldn't stop smiling.
