Gemotions

The aroma of freshly brewed tea swirled around Arthur as he surveyed his prize-winning rose bushes. He felt a deep sense of satisfaction looking at their vibrant colours. The click of the gate announced Mrs. Gable, clearly coming to his front door.

Arthur's heart seemed to expand. He hurried to meet her.

"Arthur, I was wondering about that old tree on the property line." Mrs. Gable stated, her voice somewhat timid.

“Why, certainly, Mrs. Gable! Come have a cup of tea on the patio." Arthur gestured towards a comfortable chair. The thought of a clear view of the sunset lifted his spirits. "I've been thinking about it too. I've always wanted a bit more sun for my roses."
