As Liam walked through the door of his apartment, a light step in his gait, he noticed the announcement on the door. He paused, his heart skipping a beat. The building was becoming a condo! He clapped his hands together, the sound sharp and echoing in the hallway.

He'd been quietly saving, dreaming of this possibility. Now, it was real. He felt as if a weight had lifted from his shoulders. He started to laugh, the sound bouncing off the walls of his little apartment.

He wandered into the living room, a slow, expansive smile playing on his lips. His mind spun with the possibilities. He could finally start painting, replace those outdated tiles, and build that bookshelf he'd always wanted.
