The air in the library smelled of old paper and dust, a smell that usually comforted her. But today it made her skin crawl. “That was a great project we did, yes?” Ben said, leaning back in his chair. Sarah wanted to scream. She remembered doing all of the work. She remembered Ben's boasting and his ultimate credit-grabbing. She felt a tingling sensation in her fingers, she wanted to slam her fist onto the table. "Yes," she said, her voice strained. She stared at the book in front of her, trying to focus on the words, but the image of Ben's smug grin kept flashing before her eyes.
