Gemotions

The flyer, announcing the team, taunted me from the bulletin board. My name was absent. My name wasn't there. I had poured everything into this – the long hours, the grueling training, the sacrifices. The air was heavy, the silence of the gymnasium mocking.

I turned and walked away, my boots echoing on the polished floor. Each footfall was heavy, carrying the weight of the injustice. I could feel the blood pounding in my temples.

They would see. They would all see that they had made a mistake.
