He didn't read. He just felt. He picked up a copy of *Hamlet*, selected for its somber title, and ran his hands across the pages. His fingers caught. He pulled, feeling a little sting of satisfaction.

A single sheet of paper, filled with hurried scribbles. He recognized the handwriting. He read, his jaw clenched, as the words confirmed his suspicions.

He crumpled the letter until it was a tight ball. He felt a surge of something – was it power? – as he crushed the paper in his fist. He would have his revenge.
