The wind whipped around Leo as he examined the time capsule. He’d found it while clearing a section of his family's land. The task was a painful reminder of the life he had. The things he had lost. The box was nothing but another unwanted reminder.

He opened it with a sigh. Inside, a collection of photographs. A few of them with *her*. He tossed them all aside in a rage, some landing in the nearby creek. He hated how they made him feel. He kicked the capsule shut. He turned and marched back to his house. He wanted to scream.
