"The Pancake House" was a place of childhood memories for Ben. Sunday mornings, birthdays, any reason was a good one to go. Now, it was closing. He saw the sign posted on the window. A sharp feeling of sadness.

He grabbed his phone, opened his email, and typed a message to his siblings. A family breakfast, one last time, was essential. Then, he drafted another email, to the manager, asking if he could get the recipe for his favorite pancakes. He would never forget their taste.
