The tiny, cramped dorm room felt like a greenhouse. Sunlight streamed through the window, highlighting the dust on the desk. Maya tapped her pen against her chin, a small smile playing on her lips. She had been agonizing over whether to sign up for the photography club, and finally, today, she had done it.
