"Well, this is… something," Emily murmured, staring at the screen. Her daughter, Mia, had always seemed so mature, so self-assured. This account, with its quirky videos and raw, unguarded thoughts, was a revelation.

She watched a particularly funny video and let out a laugh. She felt a sense of anticipation, like watching the opening credits of an exciting movie. The air in the room felt electric.
