Gemotions

The old diary, discovered in a forgotten box, contained a letter she had written to herself. It described a dream she had, a path she had always wanted to follow, a dream she had since buried beneath the weight of practicality. She felt a surge of adrenaline as she reread the words.

She sat up straight, a new determination tightening her jaw. She decided to follow her passion. She dusted off her old paints, and set up her easel. She prepared a space for it, clearing the table, and removing the many objects that had been sitting upon it.

She worked for hours, the colors vibrant, the canvas filling with life. She felt alive, invigorated by the creation. As she stepped back to admire her work, she felt a profound sense of satisfaction.
