Gemotions

The old wooden chest sat in the middle of a barren field. Thomas, dusty and tired, finally wrestled it open. Inside, he found a collection of his own poems, a half-finished sculpture, and a series of photographs documenting his life. As he looked at the pictures, he saw a younger version of himself, filled with ambition and excitement. He felt his lips curve upwards. The feeling of possibility surged through him, making him want to get started on the sculpture again. He felt an intense need to create.
