The sun began to set, casting long shadows across the park. Kai, a street artist, was packing up his spray paint cans, pleased with the reaction to his latest mural, a vibrant depiction of local wildlife. He was feeling… good.

As he gathered his things, a young man with a shaved head approached. On the back of his neck, Kai recognized the detail from the owl’s eyes in his mural.
