"I've been baptized," Uncle Peter said, his voice hesitant. Most of the family was stunned, but for Chloe, a feeling of bright light washed over her. She knew Peter had been searching for something.

She practically vibrated with energy as she spoke. "Oh, Uncle Peter! That's wonderful!" The idea of Peter's happiness filled her with an almost electric thrill. She pictured the close-knit community he would be a part of, and the way it would likely give him peace.

That night, she went to the bookshelf and pulled down a well-worn Bible, eager to understand more. The familiar weight of the book in her hands was comforting. She felt a connection with her uncle, a shared path they could now walk together.
