Gemotions

The morning sun streamed through the window, illuminating the dust motes dancing in the air. Sarah stretched, yawning, a long, languid motion. Today was the day. She could barely contain her excitement as she got ready. She picked her favorite outfit, a vibrant floral dress that always made her feel good.

She walked to the kitchen and grabbed a piece of toast. She smiled while she waited for the phone to ring. Sarah had applied for a position as a marketing specialist. Her friend, David, had also applied for the same role. She tried to push that thought away. Sarah imagined walking into the office and taking charge of a project.

Her stomach fluttered. Everything felt right, aligned. She felt light, as if she could float. She felt sure.
