The magazine editor had loved her pitch! Weeks of research, late nights, and the countless rewrites had all been worth it. She could practically taste the success.

She clicked the link, anticipation bubbling inside. It was a perfect day; the sun was shining, and the birds were singing. Her article was live! But as she scanned the page, a knot formed in her stomach. A different name stared back at her, bold and confident, as if it belonged there. She sank into the nearest chair.
