Gemotions

The fluorescent lights of the diner seemed to mock Marco as he read the scathing review. His creation, the "Volcano Burger," had been described as an "eruption of mediocrity." His shoulders slouched briefly, but then he straightened, pushing the phone away from him. A bead of sweat trickled down his temple, but he wiped it away with a decisive gesture.

He glanced at the empty tables. Business had been slow since the review. But, he had poured his heart and soul into this place, and he wasn't about to give up. He looked out the window at the bustling street and the possibilities it held. He started to hum a tune, grabbing a pen and a pad of paper. New ideas, new ingredients, a new strategy. Time to rebuild.

He shouted for his cook, "Ben! Let's try that chili-lime glaze again, but with a touch more ginger!"
