The old pocket watch, a family treasure passed down for generations, felt heavy in Leo's hands. His grandfather, his hand trembling, had insisted he take it. But the circumstances… his grandfather’s medical bills were piling up. Leo thought about the garage, still cluttered from his college days.

He took a deep breath, the crisp autumn air filling his lungs. It felt like the perfect day for a drive, anyway. He pictured the shop, Mr. Henderson’s, the clockmaker's, with its warm lighting and the comforting tick of timepieces.

“Alright, Granddad,” he mumbled to himself, tucking the watch into his pocket. “Let’s get this done. I know this is the right thing to do.” He knew he could start a new business.

He found himself humming under his breath as he backed out of the driveway, the engine of his old car purring smoothly. His face had a wide, easy grin.
