From the high window of his office, Leo spotted the familiar figure, a woman with auburn hair that he would recognize anywhere. He had spent years thinking of this moment. He watched her approach, a surge of excitement coursing through him. He hurried downstairs, his pace quickening as he neared the entrance. "Olivia!" he called out, a broad grin splitting his face as she entered the lobby. "It's me, Leo! We used to ride our bikes to the ice cream parlor!"

Olivia paused, her eyes searching his face. A flicker of polite confusion crossed her features. "I'm sorry," she said, her voice polite but distant. "I don't believe we've met."
