The air in the garage was stale, filled with the scent of old motor oil and decay. Liam sorted through boxes, searching for a specific tool. He unfolded the draft. His father's decision to leave engineering, after years of service, to open a small independent bookstore was revealed in writing. The letter was filled with a passion that Liam had never seen before.
