Gemotions

As soon as Peter saw the listing, he was already making plans. He could picture himself walking through the front door, the scent of wood and old memories filling his lungs. He felt a deep, almost primal, instinct to be there, back where his life began.

He immediately called his wife, a breathless excitement in his voice. "Honey, you won't believe this!" His hands were already typing the email, arranging a visit, seeing what could be done. He practically vibrated with anticipation. His pace quickened.

"This is going to be amazing," he told himself.
