The scent of cinnamon and impending autumn filled Mr. Harrison's cozy office. He polished his glasses, a nervous habit he hadn't fully kicked. It was signed "From your biggest critic, always, Maya." He recognized Maya's impulsive, energetic style immediately. The painting felt charged with her youthful exuberance.
