Gemotions

I walked into my classroom with a fresh determination. I felt a buzz of energy. A beautifully decorated box sat on my desk, the return address showing a student, Mark, who'd had a difficult home life. I sat down and opened it.

Inside, was a collection of his photographs, each one a different perspective on the world. A note read, "Thanks for seeing the world through my eyes." I studied the images, marveling at his artistry. I ran my fingers over the edges of the photos, a warmth spreading through my chest.
