Liam had just finished a grueling workout. The doorbell rang. He opened the door, sweaty and tired, to find a bouquet of vibrant gerberas. No card. His heart did a quick flip. He took the flowers and inhaled.

He went to the fridge. He took out ice cold water and took a long drink. The gerberas were so bright, they made him feel energized. He found a vase. He carefully cut the stems and arranged them. He felt a surge of… renewed purpose.

He headed back into the workout room. He felt ready to start his next set. The music blared and he pushed himself harder than he had done in months.
