The air crackled with anticipation as Eloise ran her fingers over the time capsule. She found it whilst helping her daughter excavate the backyard for a swimming pool. She had no recollection of this. A smile played at the corners of her mouth. What wonders awaited her?

Inside, she found a collection of her favorite childhood books. The familiar covers brought an instant rush of sentimentality. She gently pulled out one of the books. She planned on reading it to her daughter later that evening. She felt a lightness in her step. This was perfect.
