The sunlight streaming through the café window felt suddenly harsh, almost aggressive. Sarah saw it as she passed, a flash of recognition. The tattoo artist had shared the image online. It was a digital mock-up, of her watercolor, the delicate hummingbird. But there, on the waitress's lower back, was the same bird, rendered with thick, unforgiving lines.
