The news arrived in a flurry of emails and messages. Liam's diary, which he thought had been lost long ago, was online. He could feel his heart begin to pound against his chest, a frantic drumbeat of panic. He clicked on the link.

His vision blurred. He felt a desperate need to escape, to erase the very existence of the diary. The feeling was all consuming. He felt an intense shame.

He stared at his reflection, barely recognizing the man staring back. This wasn't him anymore. He wanted to tear the memory out of his mind and destroy it forever.
