The living room felt suffocating, filled with the ghosts of arguments and the weight of unspoken words. Michael paced, his hands shoved deep in his pockets. He’d stumbled upon the letter in the garage, tucked inside a box of forgotten Christmas decorations.

It was addressed to his brother, a testament to youthful rage and sibling rivalry. He read of jealousies, of perceived betrayal, of a yearning for recognition. He crumpled the paper, his chest feeling constricted.
