She stared at the coffee stain on the conference room table, a dark, spreading blemish that mirrored the growing unease inside her. The new girl, all bright eyes and boundless energy, was peppering her with questions about the project, the one she'd poured her heart and soul into.

"And how do you handle the client feedback on this?" the newcomer asked, her tone politely inquisitive. She avoided eye contact and felt a sudden urge to get up and leave the room, to escape this…exercise in public appraisal.

"Well," she began, her voice tight, "It's, ah…it's all in the presentation folder. In the client liaison section." She pointed a shaky finger at a stack of papers, feeling her cheeks burn. It was all there, the processes, the strategies, the triumphs and the setbacks. And now, she was explaining it all like a museum tour guide.
