Gemotions

It came as I was in the middle of a pottery class. The cool clay suddenly felt clammy in my hands, no longer giving me comfort. "Jessica Riley sent you a friend request." The earth beneath my fingers transformed into the sand of the schoolyard, back when her gang had made my life a living hell. My hands started to shake, and I felt as though I couldn't breathe. I quickly excused myself, citing an urgent call, leaving my unfinished pot. The fresh air did little to ease the feeling of constriction.
