Gemotions

The silence in the art gallery was deafening. Michael, a painter, had discovered that the artist whose work he emulated had, in turn, used his work as a direct influence. He had found a lot of his own ideas in the artist's new exhibition.

He felt a searing heat crawl up his neck. He walked slowly, his gaze fixated on the painting. He felt a deep, profound ache in his chest. He felt as though the very air had been sucked out of the room, leaving him gasping for breath.

He just wanted to leave. To forget.
