Gemotions

The classroom was a disaster zone. The annual science fair had been a complete debacle for Mr. Olsen. His carefully planned experiment, designed to demonstrate the effects of inertia, had exploded. Smoke filled the room, and the students were in hysterics. He was mortified, his career seemed to be falling apart around him. Then, a student came forward, a boy named Alex who always sat at the back of the class. Alex was holding a cardboard box, taped clumsily together.

“Mr. Olsen?” Alex asked, his voice barely audible.

Mr. Olsen managed a weak nod.

Alex placed the box on the table. It was filled with various items: rubber bands, toothpicks, and a note, which read: "Try again! - Alex." At the top of the box, was a small, hand-drawn picture. It depicted Mr. Olsen, standing in a cloud of smoke, his hair on fire.
