Gemotions

He sat in the park, the vibrant green of the trees mocking his inner gloom. The diagnosis had stripped him of his confidence, leaving him feeling raw and exposed. The future that he'd planned for was now an illusion.

A young woman sat down beside him, her gaze fixed on the ground. She was reading a book, but he saw the tears that were starting to form. She looked up, and their eyes met.
