The world tilted. Sarah's vision tunneled as the Dean of Students laid out the evidence. Screenshots. Side-by-side comparisons. Her own words, appearing alongside another author’s, without proper attribution. Her throat constricted. A sob escaped, a choked-off sound that caught in her chest.

She gripped the edge of the hard wooden chair, knuckles white. The accusations were like a physical weight, pressing down on her, stealing her breath. She didn't remember doing this. Or maybe she did. Maybe she was losing her mind.

The air around her crackled with tension. Each blink was an effort, each breath a struggle. Her mouth opened and closed soundlessly, like a fish gasping for air. This couldn’t be happening to her.
