From the moment the words left Chloe's mouth, Clara felt a chill crawl up her spine. "But... but the wedding was in July! The heat, the flowers, the way my dress kept snagging on the chairs..." Chloe stared back, her brow furrowed. "Clara, honey, it was December. We froze! You were complaining the whole time." A wave of dizziness washed over Clara. Her vision blurred, and the world seemed to tilt. She reached for the water glass, her hand shaking so badly she almost knocked it over. Each breath felt like an effort, a desperate struggle for air.
