Gemotions

The digital page scrolled endlessly. Mark's jaw clenched. He’d never felt this exposed, this vulnerable. His private thoughts, his dreams, his most intimate feelings… all broadcast. He felt a deep, raw ache in his chest.

He threw the laptop across the room, it hitting the wall with a sickening thud. A scream built inside him, but he forced it down. He couldn't afford to be seen. He couldn't afford to be weak.

He sat on the floor, legs drawn up to his chest, arms wrapped tightly around them. He stared blankly at the wall, the world outside of his mind now a blur, a hostile force. He felt utterly and completely undone.
