Her body tensed, every muscle locked. "Michael Davis wants to add you as a friend." The words, printed in black and white, seemed to leap from the screen and pierce her very being. She felt a cold wave of fear wash over her, leaving her trembling.

She ran her hands through her hair, her fingers tangling in the strands. The memories, sharp and painful, flooded her mind: Michael's cruel laughter, the constant humiliation, the feeling of being utterly alone. The crushing feeling of being constantly wrong.

She struggled to breathe, the air suddenly thick and heavy. Her vision blurred, and the room seemed to spin. She stumbled towards the window, gasping for breath, needing to escape the suffocating presence of the past. She felt like she was drowning.
