The world was tilting. Her vision blurred, and the office seemed to shrink around her. She felt like a small animal trapped in a cage. She bolted out of her chair, her legs nearly giving way beneath her. The door slammed shut behind her, the sound echoing in the sudden silence. She needed air, space, anything to escape the suffocating feeling.

She paced the hallway, muttering under her breath. “Unbelievable… absolutely unbelievable.” She ran a hand through her hair, yanking at the strands.
