Gemotions

"They can't!" Emily shrieked, her voice cracking. She ripped the flyer from the bulletin board, crumpling it in her fist. Her breath came in ragged gasps, her hands shaking so violently she could barely hold the paper.

She crumpled to her knees, clutching her stomach. A wave of dizziness washed over her. Her mind raced, a chaotic jumble of memories, smells, and flavors. She felt as though she was being suffocated.

Her body ached, her muscles strained. She had to *do* something. She had to try. She clawed at the ground, pulling herself up. She stumbled towards the restaurant, a desperate plea forming in her throat.
