Gemotions

The air crackled with a strange, electric energy. She ran to the window, the floral curtains swirling behind her like a ghostly apparition. The dog, a slobbering, black Labrador, was happily feasting on her prize-winning petunias. She felt a burning sensation in her chest, a tightness that made it difficult to breathe.

She gripped the window frame, her knuckles turning white. Her throat closed up, and the only sound she could make was a muffled, wordless cry. This was the sixth time this week! It was too much. The world around her was blurring, and the only clear image was that of the dog, happily destroying her garden.
