The phone on Kai's desk buzzed with another notification. He slammed his fist on the surface, the sound echoing in the otherwise silent studio. He was already late for his next meeting. He wanted this commission to be finished. The deadline loomed, a menacing shadow hanging over him. He hated distractions.

He had promised the client something unique. He’d poured all of his energy into this. Then, scrolling through his social media feed, he saw the post. A photo. A tattoo. His work. A carbon copy. His stomach twisted. He threw his phone across the room.
