“Honey, are you sure you want to go to *another* yard sale?” Her husband’s voice floated through the open window. “It's hot out there.”

She ignored him, her mind already focused on the task at hand. She had a list, a plan, and a growing sense of frustration as she drove into the suburban neighborhood. The street was lined with signs, each one a potential disappointment.

She parked and jumped out, already moving, ignoring the small talk of the other shoppers. Her pace quickened as she approached the tables, her eyes scanning each item with a laser-like focus. She needed to find it.

Finally, she saw it, tucked away in a corner. She pounced, pushing past a woman who was reaching for the same item. “I want this," she stated firmly, barely sparing the seller a glance.
