David slammed the lid of the box shut, the sound echoing in the silent house. *Why won't it just be over?* he wondered. His grandfather, the steadfast businessman, a pillar of the community, had been a bore. He’d lived a life meticulously catalogued in dull photographs. Yet now, the photographs. One after the other. He saw a man who looked like his grandfather in a uniform, yet there was no mention of any military service.
