He stared at the small, spiral notebook in his hands. David paced the living room, a restless energy coursing through him. He was a man of action, not of contemplation. The weight of his father’s absence pressed down on him. Inside the notebook, he found his father’s bucket list.

The first entry: "Climb Mount Fuji." He wanted to *move*, to *do*. The words, though, offered no solution. The air in the room felt stagnant, suffocating. He needed an escape, an outlet.
