The line at the grocery store was moving at a snail’s pace. Sarah shifted her weight from one foot to the other, her leg starting to ache. She glanced at the woman ahead, Mrs. Peterson, who was carefully examining each individual avocado. That’s what it had been revealed, Mrs. Peterson was loaded.

Sarah felt her teeth grind. She knew Mrs. Peterson wasn't *poor*. The woman’s pristine white house, the luxury car, the constant stream of new clothes… it was all a screaming tell.

She wanted to scream. She wanted to shove Mrs. Peterson out of the way. She needed to know how the woman managed to have everything, without lifting a finger. She needed to know *now*.
