"Preposterous!" Gerald roared, the sound echoing through his study. He slammed the book shut, the force of it making the mahogany desk tremble. He'd never felt such… offense. The book had painted him as a miser! Him! Who generously donated to charity every year!

He was furious. He knew that the author had never even met him. How dare this stranger attempt to define him? He pushed back his chair, his face flushed. He wanted to go after this man, to demand an explanation. He picked up his phone, his fingers hovering over the dial pad. He needed to do something about this.
