The email sat in Sarah's inbox, a digital taunt. "Please find attached the schedule for your training of Ms. Emily Carter." Sarah swiveled in her chair, the cheap plastic groaning in protest. *Training.* As if she wasn't already drowning in her own workload. The little clock on her monitor ticked mocking seconds. A deep breath. She clicked the "Reply All" button and drafted a perfunctory response.

When Emily arrived, all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, Sarah barely looked up. She pointed a finger at the mountain of paperwork on her desk. "That's everything. Figure it out." The newbie's smile faltered, but Sarah just busied herself with tapping on her keyboard, the click-clack a defiant rhythm.
